Oil on primed panel (unframed)
20 x 15 cm
Small still life oil paintings by South African artist Heidi Shedlock from her Paintings in the post daily painting project. These little paintings from this series have traveled to collectors all over the world. This little painting is inspired by a new rose in her garden called 'Pompadour' named after Madame de Pompadour the French mistress to King Louis XV who made the colour pink fashionable during the age of the Enlightenment.
